Biotopo del Quetzal:

The biotope Quetzal is a natural reserve of tropical flora, dedicated to preserve and protect the national guatemalan bird: the Quetzal.

There are two trails to explore a small part of the biotope. The short path (Ferns) about 2 km, and the long path (Mosses) 4 km. Both are in good conditions to walk through.


Lachuá Lagoon:

It is characterized by its unique natural beauty, combining the crystal clear waters of a huge circular lagoon with lush vegetation, main of a tropical rainforest.


Semuc Champey:

This reserve consists of several pools of turquoise crystal clear waters, which are formed because the river Cahabón lurks beneath the ground. You need to see them at least once in life !!



Its name comes from the Q'eqchi ' tongue and means "row", this is because the caves are  in between three mountains, and are one after another. Venture into these mysterious caves!


Candelaria Caves:

The most extraordinary caves of our planet, traversed by the jade green waters of the great sacred river of the Mayas.


Lagoon Chichoj:

also called the sky pupil, this amount of water owes its appeal to 'floating islands', concentrations of aquatic plants that are often located on the shore of the lake. But sometimes, by the wind, they are moved into the lagoon, giving the illusion of being genuine islet on water.


Rafting of Cahabón:

Rafting consists of descending by the mountain river in rubber rafts. This exciting sport does not need previous experience in circuits for beginners, the only requirement is to know how to swim.
